Guidelines for Visiting Aircraft
It is mandatory to contact Mission Communications within 25 miles of the helipad.
Mission Communications will provide landing information upon initial contact including:
- Wind Speed
- Direction
- Parking Assignment
To call radio report to Mission Hospitals ECC contact Mission Communications and state your request.
Visiting aircraft will not be left unattended. A pilot will be available to secure the aircraft and reposition if necessary.
Mission Hospital will provide offload assistance when available.
All agencies are encouraged to clearly mark equipment that accompanies the patient with County or Service to aid in the return of equipment.
Equipment that is sent with a patient in MAMA will be cleaned and placed in the mail for delivery the next business day.
