Education is an integral part of Mission's trauma program. We work with other medical professionals to provide continuing education such as:
- Advanced trauma life support (ATLS) training
- Trauma grand rounds
- Trauma nursing core course (TNCC)
Many of these programs provide CEU and CME credits. TNCC, which are two days in length, take place in the spring and fall. E-mail cnskxt@msj.org for dates and additional information.
Along with injury prevention specialists working at Mission, we help others live more safely by offering educational classes and workshops to community groups. Specifically, our Safe Kids program works to prevent unintentional childhood injury. If you would like to learn more about Safe Kids, please contact Paula Bryson at 828-213-1805.
