Preserving Our Past - Charting Our Future

There are now many current as well as future nurses, who are very thankful for the Mission Belles.  Over the past 5 years, the Mission Belles Nursing Education Committee has awarded scholarships totaling $24,000 to 26 senior nursing students in Western North Carolina.  Of these Mission Belle scholarship recipients, 21 are currently employed as nurses as give are completing their education now in area schools in Western North Carolina.  The names of 2010 Mission Belle Nursing Education Scholarship recipients and their schools are as follows: Stephanie Biesecker, Blue Ridge Community College; Tracey Carroll, Blue Ridge Community College; Molly Cleveland, Western Carolina University; Kimberly Pressley, Haywood Community College; and Brittany Smith, Haywood Community College.
