Grateful for beautiful mountains and a warmer climate, we moved to Asheville in 1991, having lived until then primarily in New England. Having heard as we moved that good healthcare was available in Asheville, we now know know firsthand that is true.
Since moving here, at Mission John has had five major surgeries, and Elizabeth has had several emergency procedures, including trauma care after being hit on a crosswalk by a turning vehicle. Quite simply, we are grateful to the Good Lord and the wonderful doctors and nurses who have cared for us at Mission, saving our lives several times over. In appreciation for such good care, we are happy to support the hospital with annual donations.
