Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP)

Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP)

Purpose:

To encourage the development of Mission Health leadership by providing assistance in pursuing graduate education.


Eligibility:

  1. Must be a current department director with Mission Healthfor a minimum of two years prior to applying to LEAP.
  2. Must be accepted and/or enrolled in a graduate program that supports and would enhance current and/or future leadership position.
  3. Must have approval of supervising Vice President and Vice President of Human Resources.

Passing Criteria for Continuation of LEAP Funding:

Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.


Program Commitment:

In return for participating in the LEAP, department directors agree to continue working in a leadership position at Mission Health.  This work commitment will be 2,080 hours of employment in a leadership position for each year or part of a year that the department director receives LEAP funding. Repayment of the award is required if work commitment is not met. Applicable State and Federal taxation regulations apply.
