CheckMeds NC for Seniors

If you are a senior who is taking medications for a chronic condition, or who is taking a lot of medications, our CheckMeds NC Program may be perfect for you. CheckMeds NC is available to any resident of North Carolina who is over 65 and participates in Medicare Part D.

If you are taking medications for a chronic condition, our Medication Management Clinic offers a yearly one-on-one "medicine check-up," when a pharmacist will review all your medicines and help you resolve problems with side effects or drug interactions.  The pharmacist will also help you look for ways to save money on medications.

CheckMedsNC is a state program and is free to Part D plan members. If you don't have a Part D plan, you may enroll in the program for $120 per year.
