Arlo Jennings is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Mission Hospital.
Few hospitals of the size and complexity of Mission can point to one person on staff who has had a role in every information technological advance made in the last 25 years. Mission has such a leader.
Arlo Jennings, Ph.D. will be the first to insist that establishing Mission's foremost position in hospital information technology was and is a team effort. This is true, but Jennings is the unflappable center around which information technology services at Mission revolve.
Jennings has been at Mission since the summer of 1986. In two and one-half decades, this visionary has advanced Mission's information technology to what is widely referred to as the "bleeding edge." Mission's system has surpassed most hospital information technology systems today in both breadth and depth for billing and clinical information. Furthermore, breathtaking new technology is to go on-line in this decade. Jennings earned his doctorate in Management Information Systems from KW University, a division of Colorado Technical University.
Jennings has served at Mars Hill College as an adjunct professor of computer science and business management, and before Mission was employed by American Enka, and Kewaunee Scientific.
