Diagnosing Brain and Spine Tumors
In addition to all the imaging and diagnostic tools you would expect at a major medical center, Mission's Neurosciences Institute is on the forefront of several new fields of tumor diagnosis. Some of the diagnostic capabilities available at our Neurosciences Institute include:
- Stealth guided biopsy uses the power of computed guided neuronavigation
to pinpoint the precise area of the brain to sample, with minimum effect on surrounding tissue. Because of this technology, many brain biopsies can now be performed on an outpatient basis.
