Reaching out for support
The Mission Hospital Lung Program's multidisciplinary approach offers several different support resources. A nurse navigator provides education, resources, coordination, and advocacy. The nurse navigator also networks with other regional resources and makes referrals. A lung cancer support group sponsored by Mission Hospital will begin soon.
